Make/Save/Invest - Intro

Image
By Miguel Dos Anjos  Who Am I?                 Hello everyone!                 My name’s Miguel Dos Anjos. For a few years now; there has been concerns, that there will not be a social security for people in my generation. I’m 34 years old and as we have seen, the retirement age has been pushed further down and by the time it is our time to collect, it will most likely be pushed even further down.                 Believe me, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, that, is the only way we could even be able to have some sort of social security in the future since the nation’s debt keep rising and people keep living longer.                 As long as we plan ahead, our futu...

The 15 Strategies of Debt Free People

Image
By Miguel Dos Anjos                 You cannot save, or invest heavily while stuck in debt. The reason for this is that sitting on large amounts of cash make no sense if credit cards, and loans end up snow balling with interests making your debt bigger, and bigger. Even investing, in an investment account, or a retirement account most often is not worth, because the return collected is still smaller than the interest collected from you by bank loans, or credit cards. Here we’ll go over 15 characteristics that debt free people follow: 1. They become aware: They calculate, and know where their debt is coming from, how much it is, and set up a game plan to tackle it. 2. They come out of the “Debt Culture”:  Now a days people believe that debt is unavoidable to have a normal life, since education, car payments, and the cost of living are so high. As this happens the rich, and prepared know, or intelligently decide if it is time to sell, or time to buy more, because they can see that the event will pass, and the stock price will reach once again its o...

Image
By Miguel Dos Anjos  1- Write on a piece of paper all your expenses:                 On the road to financial freedom the first step is to get rid of all your debt, not including good debts, like a house that you might own, and have tenants paying off the mortgage for you.                 You need to know who you own, how much you own them, and what the interest being collected off of you is. Image
By Miguel Dos Anjos                 Studies have shown that the amount of happiness and good hormones released in the brain from acquiring experiences is greater than the amount of happiness hormones released when purchasing a material item.                 While waiting to go on a trip, restaurant, theater, or event we get a building up of excitement and pleasure.
